One Church, Multiple Locations

In 2005, Bishop Daniel Omondi Oboka planted Mustard Christian Centre in Kisii Town with just 47 people who shared a single conviction: the gospel of Jesus Christ is the most transformative force on earth.

The name is drawn from Matthew 13:31-32 — a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds, that grows into the greatest of trees. That parable has proven prophetic. From that small gathering in a rented school hall, MCC has grown into a network of thriving congregations spread across multiple counties.

Today, over 2,500 members call MCC home. We are a family defined not by geography or background, but by a shared faith in Jesus Christ and a shared mission to make His name known.
